Jordi Cañas

Jordi Cañas is Director of European Affairs at The Grey. Specialising in EU policy, legislative processes and European institutional relations, he has extensive experience of how the European Union works and of shaping transnational public agendas. A former Member of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the Renew Europe group, he analyses the European regulatory framework, EU funding instruments and the EU’s strategic priorities, with particular attention to strategic autonomy, security and defence.
